Much like a VisWall, a VisWall-LCD allows small groups of people to collaboratively examine incredibly detailed imagery or incredible amounts of information at once. Read more about high resolution applications.
Pictured on this page are two 15 panel VisWall-LCD displays for the Lunar and Planetary Lab (LPL) at the University of Arizona. The displays will be used to showcase images taken by the very high resolution HiRISE instrument aboard the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO).
Each lcd panel is 20" and UXGA resolution (1600x1200) for an aggregate resolution of over 28 million pixels per display. The base of the system is secure and contains all of the cabling and the rackmount workstations that drive the display. The entire unit is portable and height adjustable, allowing it to roll through standard doorways.

NOTE: The portable configuration on this page could easily accomodate a 4x4 panel array rather than 3x5.
NOTE: Many other configurations are possible with different numbers and types of panels (e.g. WUXGA - 1920x1200). Other structures, with and without a graphics cluster are also possible. Much like our other display products, each VisWall-LCD is custom built-to-order.
